LOTW attendees can take a taxi from the airport to UNLV, and it shouldn't cost more than $15. Drivers will usually know where the dorms are; if not, ask them to go to the In and Out Burger on Maryland Parkway near Trop, then follow University 1/8 mile east until it dead ends by the Tonopah dorms.
Some attendees are arranging cab shares through the Facebook group.

Tonopah and the Student Union, where you can pick up your conference information in room 222, are very close to one another - here's a map.
The conference welcome desk will be open in Student Union room 222 until 5pm on Wednesday. From 4:30 to 7pm on Wed., the Bell Trans Shuttle will transport attendees from the Student Union to the Stan Fulton building for the opening reception.
